Along the way, he helps people without an e-pass to travel and drops them at hospitals in case of emergencies. He has also supported his fellow employees in sanitizing areas which were considered containment zones.
When his colleague was in two minds to join work during the pandemic, he volunteered to do his duty. He has never missed a day of work for the past six months. He humbly states that his hard work is a result of the support he receives from his family, friends and co-workers.
He is one among 15 people who have received this award from his office. He stated that in case there is an increase in the workload, the branch members would willingly come forward as a team to execute the plan of action.
During his 30 years of service, he has been a thoughtful and supportive worker, who has voluntarily helped many during Chennai floods, fire accidents, and various dire situations.
